Dr. Chris Zaino
Dr. Chris Zaino grew up in Melville, New York until the age of 12 when his family relocated to Sarasota, Florida. Early in high school he was inspired by his father to begin what would be a successful bodybuilding career. Dr. Zaino began natural competitive bodybuilding as he was going through college and won many titles at the national level, including Mr. America in 1992. In 1998, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Exercise Physiology & Wellness.
He then went on to Parker College of Chiropractic, to earn his doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Zaino’s passion is to educate and support as many families as possible so they can reach their God-given health potential through natural chiropractic care. His office, Abundant Life Chiropractic is now the largest chiropractic clinic in the world!

Dr. Chris I am so excited to have you on the show today, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to speak with us!
First and foremost, would you mind telling our listeners a little more about you as a person and especially about how you ended up on the road to becoming a chiropractor?
Thank you for sharing your story. A key point I want to emphasize to our listeners is this: You were dealing with a serious health condition that was anything but what most people think chiropractic care is for: back pain and neck pain. Of course chiropractic care works great for back pain and neck pain but man, the fact that spinal dysfunction (or vertebral subluxation) interfere with the nervous system, which is the master control system of the entire body, people need to understand that virtually any health condition could be the result of spinal dysfunction!
Can you tell us a little more about how you educate your patients on the fact that all healing requires time?
Thank you for that. I think this is another very important point. All healing takes time. Although it seems like we suddenly become sick, the truth is when we are sick, it was in the days or weeks or months or sometimes even years before that where we actually became unhealthy and lost our ability to adapt to future challenges. In this day and age when we have pharmaceutical companies spending upwards of 300 BILLION dollars per year to brainwash us into believing the opposite: that time is not needed, rather all we need to improve our health is better chemistry, in the form of more prescription drugs and in fact they have a pill for every ill, which sadly is not the path to improved health. If you were not patient enough, you may have ended up undergoing major surgery and likely would have been put on a lifetime of prescription drugs! How do you educate your patients on understanding that healing takes time?
